This has been up there long enough, it sounds like a decent show but comeon enough already. Lets hear some new shit, thats what i love about this site finding new bands so lets hear one.

Wasn't there but sounds amazing. I've seen these cats several times and can't remember ever being disappointed. Always love the longer jams: a longer trip into the music; more time to be taken away. ie. Only a Northern Song.... wow. Huge Beatles fan and I've never seen Yonder play that. Hopefully someday.

I love Yonder Mountain String Band. I wish they'd get a show with the Jim Weider band. I desperately urge any of you who have not yet allowed your ears the pleasure of jims one-of-a-kind tones and melodic grooves to go to his myspace at once. that is all.

Subject: Dedication to Sandy Alexander
I was really getting into this show. Sounded like Yonder was on this evening. Having not been in attendance I was unaware of the dedication and kind words that Jeff had for our friend Sandy Alexander. It brought tears to my eyes, right here at my desk at work.

One of my fond memories of Sandy was at a YMSB show in Stateline, NV South Lake Tahoe. Sandy was taping. I just dug hanging out in his space after a day of skiing. Anyone who met him knows what an awesome giant of a man he was. He always made everyone I saw around him feel welcome. I miss him.

Great show. It's awesome to see an acoustic string band getting the spotlight for once! make sure to check out other bluegrass bands on archive, Infamous Stringdusters, Steep Canyon Rangers, The Strangeboys, etc..

Thanks for the info, Fleish!

I can't wait for that show to be uploaded by whatever awesome person that recorded it.

Do you know if they might be uploading it here or is there another site that I don't know about where Yonder Mountain shows are typically uploaded to?

Subject: huge win in many senses
We really needed this show on Saturday. There was a big problem with the Fillmore's regularly scheduled taperssection on Friday that created lots of drama & seriously detracted from my enjoyment of the show (not that the show was bad, my mind was just stuck in a bad place for some of it).

Anyways, this show smokes. There are multiple other sources that will surely surface sooner or later.

1moo4u: it wasn't me @ HOB in San Diego but I know someone who taped it. It too will surface in time.
